U.S. President Joe Biden stated that he is not following the legal process regarding former American leader Donald Trump in the case of forged financial documents of the Trump Organization to pay off former porn actress Stormy Daniels.
“I did not have the opportunity to follow the legal proceedings because I was running a campaign,” Biden said at an event in New York. His words were quoted by the White House press pool.
The current American leader also described Trump’s presidency as a time of chaos.
“Chaos is nothing new for Trump. His presidency was chaos, not a joke,” noted Biden.
The U.S. presidential elections will take place on November 5th. Trump has already secured the necessary number of delegates to be nominated as the Republican candidate for U.S. president. Biden, running for a second term, has secured the support of enough delegates from the Democratic Party. Thus, the battle is expected to be between the same candidates as four years ago when Biden defeated Trump, who was seeking re-election.
