According to the farmers, the next protest action will take place today from 10:00 to 14:00.

“Manure will be used in front of the parliamentary offices of those deputies who advocated for preserving the ‘Green Course’ to reach an agreement with the EU,” explained one of the participants in the farmers’ protest actions.

Protesters also plan to use bundles of straw to block deputies.

At the same time, Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister, Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh, emphasized that the majority of the demands of the protesting farmers had been met. He urged not to politicize the current protest action at the Ministry of Agriculture headquarters.

Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture reported the start of negotiations between the head of the department, Cheslav Sekersky, and representatives of the protesters. However, the chairman of the Union of Individual Farmers “Solidarity,” Tomasz Olszanski, stated that the communication led to nothing.

Farmers’ protest actions have been ongoing in Poland for several months. They are demanding that authorities stop importing agricultural products from Ukraine and reject the EU’s environmental plans to reduce emissions to zero.
