A criminal case has been opened on charges of treason
A resident of Vladivostok is suspected of treason for espionage in favor of the Ukrainian military intelligence. He has been detained, according to a source in the regional office of the FSB of Russia.
According to a representative of the agency, the suspect, acting on the instructions of Ukrainian special services, collected and transmitted information about military infrastructure objects in the Primorsky Krai. He was fully aware that this data could be used against the security of Russia.
A criminal case on charges of treason has been initiated against the suspect. He is currently in pre-trial detention. This is the third resident of the Primorsky Krai detained for espionage in recent times.
