In Russia, the reason for the crisis in relations with the West has been identified

Achieving future agreements to settle the conflict in Ukraine and the crisis in relations between Russia and the West is complicated by undermined trust in promises. This was stated by the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Yakovenko.

He explained that the West ignored the postulate of international law regarding the need to fulfill commitments. As an example, he pointed out that Moscow was openly told that they did not intend to comply with the Minsk agreements, but hoped to gain time for the remilitarization of Ukraine. “We were simply deceived,” summarized Yakovenko.

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan commented on his country’s relations with Russia and the West. He compared Turkey’s trust in Russia and the West and emphasized that he has no reason to doubt Moscow’s reliability. “I have no reason not to trust. As reliable as the West is, so is Russia. For 50 years, the EU made us wait at their doors. Now I trust Russia no less than the West,” he noted.
