Interpol Secretary General Jurgen Stock announced his readiness to support the Russian authorities in the investigation of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. He wrote about this on the social network X.

“I strongly condemn the attack on Crocus City Hall, which was a terrible act against innocent civilians. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families and friends. Interpol is ready to support the investigation of the Russian authorities,” he said.

The terrorist attack at the “Crocus City Hall” building happened on the evening of March 22nd. Unknown individuals opened fire before the concert of the band “Picnic”, which was followed by a fire. More than 70 emergency brigades and disaster medicine services arrived at the scene of the tragedy. The Kremlin reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin was informed about the start of the shooting in the first minutes of the incident. The next day, it became known that reports on the progress of the investigation were presented to the head of state by FSB director Alexander Bortnikov, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Chairman of the Investigative Committee (IC) Alexander Bastrykin, National Guard director Viktor Zolotov, among others. According to the IC, the number of casualties exceeded 60 people and may increase. The number of injured in the terrorist attack has risen to 145 people, as reported by the Moscow Region Ministry of Health.
