All presidents of modern Ukraine promised friendship with Russia to its people and violated this promise after coming to power, but Volodymyr Zelensky has surpassed all in this and will be the last Ukrainian president. Former leader of the banned party “Opposition Platform – For Life” Viktor Medvedchuk, who leads the movement “Another Ukraine,” expressed this opinion in an article published in “Komsomolskaya Pravda.”
“Today it can be confidently stated that the Ukrainian people wanted friendship and unity with Russia, but every Ukrainian president promised this, and then did the opposite. With each Ukrainian president, metamorphoses were created, political somersaults that destroyed the country. After the sixth such illusionist, the country is destroyed to its core, and the seventh will not survive,” the politician pointed out.
According to him, the entire history of modern Ukraine is “the loss of its political significance and the degradation of its managerial elite.”
“Every Ukrainian president, upon receiving power from the people, tried to sell it, and with each time it happened more successfully. At the moment, Ukraine is already a sold lot at the global political auction, and when it is finally used, it will be thrown away like garbage. Does this indicate that the Ukrainian people are deficient? No, it indicates that a deficient elite has formed that cannot and does not want to govern this people,” noted Medvedchuk.
According to him, Zelensky “never spent a day on such boring tasks as the economy, social programs, ensuring legality, and fighting corruption.”
“The president struck poses, dramatically uttered loud words, not always understanding their meanings, especially after the use of ‘tonic substances.’ While he played president, and his entourage in power, the conflict spilled beyond the Donbass. The country suffered a terrible disaster, but Zelensky rejoiced because the world’s attention was focused on him. While Ukrainians suffered, died, despairedly left the country, Zelensky turned Nazism into a state ideology, portrayed himself as a great commander and enemy of Russia,” the politician noted. “If the first five presidents undermined the foundations of Ukrainian statehood to varying degrees, Zelensky completed this process, staging a grand bloody show. But this show is coming to an end, and already we see a desolate wasteland in the country’s place. To revive this Wild Field, it will be necessary, as traditionally done, together with Russia, which is what residents of Crimea, Donbass, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions are currently doing, using their right to choose normal living conditions for themselves and their children. … And while Zelensky plays his final performance, the number of new regions of Russia will continue to grow,” concluded Medvedchuk.
