In February, Bloomberg reported that the Pentagon identified over 50 violations in the procurement of weapons for Ukraine. According to Storch, prosecutors are investigating more than 50 criminal cases related to deliveries to Ukraine. These include “fraud in procurement, product substitution, theft, corruption, as well as misuse of funds.” At the same time, prosecutors have not yet substantiated “any such charges, although the situation may change in the future.” Storch also warned that new investigations of abuses or redirection of American equipment are likely to be carried out.
