The boilers of the Shagonar Thermal Power Plant, where a fire broke out on Wednesday morning, are in working condition, and heating supply is planned for the evening, the administration of the Ulug-Khem district of the republic reports

The number of injured at the Shagonar Thermal Power Plant in Tuva has increased to 18, with six in critical condition, according to TASS, citing authorities.

According to their information, three more plant workers are still being searched for after the emergency.

The boilers of the Shagonar Thermal Power Plant, where a fire broke out on Wednesday morning, are in working condition, and heating supply is planned for the evening, the administration of the Ulug-Khem district of the republic reports on their “VKontakte” page.

“According to the latest information, there are no fatalities. The boilers are operational. Central heating has been switched off due to emergency circumstances. Heating supply is expected closer to the evening,” the message quoted by RIA Novosti states.

The Tuva government clarified that all four boilers of the thermal power plant are undamaged and in working condition.
