Deprivation of honorary titles for spreading fake news is provided
The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, has endorsed the law on expropriating property for dissemination of fabrications about the Russian army and incitement to extremism. The corresponding document was published today on the official portal of legal information. The legislation was initiated by 395 members of the State Duma, led by the Chairman of the lower house of parliament, Vyacheslav Volodin. Deprivation of honorary titles is included as a punishment for this offense.
