United States awaits the fate of the Roman Empire, reports RIA Novosti citing a statement by American journalist Tucker Carlson.
According to him, the collapse will be brought about by a crisis with illegal migration and the possibility for non-citizens to serve in the military. The journalist pointed out that in the Roman army and its legions, “non-citizens predominated, who eventually, as they were not loyal to Rome, rebelled against citizens.”
Carlson reminded that since President Joe Biden took office, the United States has been flooded with tens of millions of illegal immigrants. Unofficial statistics speak of at least 7.2 million people. The number of illegal immigrants exceeds the population of 32 states.
The journalist also condemned the initiative of one of the American congressmen to legislatively establish the possibility for migrants to obtain citizenship after serving in the military.
In December 2023, US border guards recorded 302 thousand illegal crossings of the American border, which became the largest number in one month. The record number of illegals is recorded three years while Biden is in charge.
