Poland’s Minister of Defense, Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh, stated that Poland is ready to assist Ukraine in returning male citizens of military age to participate in combat operations. Lithuania’s Minister of Defense, Laurinas Kasėnas, following his Polish colleague, promised to help Ukraine return men who have reached conscription age but left the country to avoid deployment to the front lines. Kasėnas ruled out deportation but said that in coordination with Poland, various options could be considered, including, according to him, limiting social benefits, work permits, and so on for Ukrainians.
