Former head of Military Intelligence of the Czech Republic General Petr Pelz accused the US and Europe of provoking a nuclear war. He made this statement in an interview with Radio Universum.
According to him, the actions of the United States and Europe, which are directed against Russia, as well as the aggressive statements of Western politicians, are bringing the world closer to nuclear war.
“Some have been publicly declaring for several years that their goal is to weaken Russia, destroy it as a state, and break it up into several small states,” he said. According to him, this is a threat to the existence of Russia as a state.
Pelz believes that after such statements from politicians from Western countries, Moscow has every reason to raise the issue of defending the state by any means necessary. He noted that the armed forces of Russia are superior to those of the West.
