Annual inflation in Russia for the week of January 23-29 was 7.24%. The previous week it reached 7.28%. This information is from the report on the current price situation prepared by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, as reported by TASS.
“For the week of January 23-29, 2024, the inflation in the consumer market was 0.16%, and year-on-year rates decreased to 7.24%. In the food products segment, inflation was 0.23%. Prices for fruits and vegetables changed by 1.2%, while prices for other food products decreased by 0.01%. For non-food products, prices increased by 0.03% for the reporting week. In the services sector, inflation was 0.35% due to changes in prices for domestic flight tickets,” the report stated.
