The Moscow Exchange (MOEX) indicated that weekly inflation was at zero.

Annual inflation in Russia from March 5 to 11 reached 7.6%. The week before, it was 7.59%. This information is included in the review of the current price situation prepared by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, as reported by TASS.

“From March 5 to March 11, 2024, prices in the consumer market remained unchanged, with year-on-year price growth rates reaching 7.6%,” the review states.

The document notes that in the food sector, price growth slowed to 0.07%, with a faster decline in prices for fruits and vegetables. Prices for other food products remained at the same level as the previous week. Non-food items decreased by 0.08% in a week, with significant price reductions for domestic cars and faster price decreases for electrical and household appliances. In the services sector, prices decreased by 0.06%, with a faster decline in domestic flight tickets.

The country’s annual inflation rate in February was 7.69%.
