The case files reveal that Pavel Maloy, formerly a deputy chairman and CFO of the petrochemical company “Sibur” and later the head of “Mirakl” and managing director of “Levit”, has brought a lawsuit against the Luxembourg and Russian branches of Credit Suisse, seeking the release of frozen funds and payment of interest. Maloy, who was previously referred to as a protégé of Leonid Mikhelson, declined to provide any comments on the matter when approached by “Vedomosti” in 2016.
