The Bank of Russia is not currently discussing an increase in tariffs for OSAGO policies, said Mikhail Mamuta, the head of the Consumer Rights Protection and Financial Services Accessibility Department at the Bank of Russia, in an interview with aif.ru.
“We are not having such discussions at the moment,” said the Central Bank representative in response to a question from an aif.ru correspondent.
To improve the accessibility of auto insurance at the regional level, the Bank of Russia, along with insurers, local authorities, and law enforcement agencies, is combating illegal actions in the conclusion of OSAGO policies, noted Mikhail Mamuta.
