On November 2, 2023, PAO MMK filed a lawsuit against the foreign organizations Danieli Centro Combustion S.p.A. (Italy) and Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche SPA. The dispute arose from contract NЕ249025 dated December 24, 2021. The essence of the contract is not specified. According to the court materials, section 17.4 of the disputed contract provides for the application of German substantive law and the place of arbitration is Stockholm. However, MMK provided a justification for not applying the arbitration clause provided for in the disputed contract. The hearing on the claim has been postponed several times.
