The fee for the current maintenance in the entrance hall is included in the receipt that everyone pays monthly, but the amount in this column can vary among neighbors, explains construction expert, CEO of the company “Glavsnab” Fedor Vasilyev.
“There are benefits and subsidies at the federal and regional levels for this payment,” he says. “Heroes of the Soviet Union and Russia, Heroes of Socialist Labor, full recipients of the Order of Glory are exempt from such payments. 50% discount is given to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, veterans of military operations, including soldiers of special forces, people with disabilities, and families raising a disabled child.”
In addition, separate subsidies are provided for families with low incomes, where more than 22% of monthly earnings are spent on utilities payments.
Additional support measures related to the payment for current maintenance of entrance halls are available in regions. For example, school teachers in the Tyumen region are completely exempt from these expenses, including those who have retired. Many families in the Irkutsk region receive a 30% compensation for the maintenance of common property. Labor veterans in the Kaluga region receive compensation for half of the payment for current maintenance of entrance halls.
“The system of benefits depends on the region, you can find out what specific payments and discounts are due in each case at the social protection authorities in your place of residence,” adds Vasilyev. “They will also help you obtain all the necessary documents for their provision.”
