Why is real estate ownership not displayed on public services?© RegioNews.RU

In some cases, a person may not see information about their real estate on the “Gosuslugi” portal. This happens for three main reasons.

“Very often, there is no information because the owner of the property has not registered their rights in the EGRN,” says lawyer Oksana Bondarevich. “This needs to be done through a statement – for example, by contacting the Multifunctional Center (MFC).”

The second reason for the absence of information about rights to real estate is that the property was acquired before January 31, 1998. These objects are considered previously registered, so there may be no data about them in the EGRN. It is necessary to contact Rosreestr or the MFC to correct the situation. The service is provided free of charge, without paying a state fee.

If the information in a citizen’s profile on Gosuslugi does not match the data in the EGRN, this may also result in a lack of information about real estate. This happens, for example, if a person has changed their surname or passport, but the changes have not been made in the EGRN. Like in the previous cases, it is necessary to contact the MFC to clarify the information.

Sometimes, data simply has not been entered into the system yet because the government registration was very recent. In this case, you just need to wait a little for the information to appear on Gosuslugi.
