A private boarding house caught fire in the Kominternovsky district of Voronezh, as reported by the Governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev. Regional EMERCOM specified that the roof of a two-story building is on fire covering an area of 200 sq. m. 52 people, including 49 patients, have been evacuated. There is no information about any injuries.
“The roof of a two-story building covering 200 sq. m is on fire. According to the administration, there were 52 people inside: 49 immobile patients and three staff members. The EMERCOM firefighters managed to evacuate everyone in a timely manner,” it was stated in the Telegram channel of the Voronezh region EMERCOM.
The fire on the roof of the private boarding house was reported by the Voronezh region EMERCOM at 07:45 Moscow time. The fire was successfully contained around 08:00 Moscow time. At 08:13 Moscow time, the EMERCOM announced the liquidation of the open flames. The reasons for the fire are not disclosed in the agency’s Telegram channel. According to the regional governor, they will be determined later. 66 specialists and 24 units of equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire.
