After the terrorist attack at the concert hall “Crocus City Hall,” armed security may appear at the entrances to shopping centers in Moscow, reports “Izvestia” citing the president of the Union of Shopping Centers Bulat Shakirov.
“This concerns employees of Rosgvardiya, police, private security, as well as private security firms with licenses to use firearms,” he said.
Also, shopping center owners will need to verify the relevant documents of the facilities for compliance with all anti-terrorism security standards. Shakirov pointed out that it is currently unclear whether there are available resources for such an initiative.
