Factory supplying ammunition to Ukraine is on fire in the USA.


Ammunition factory caught fire in the American city of Scranton, Pennsylvania, writes Telegram channel Mash. According to media reports, a significant number of shell rounds for Ukrainian mortars and artillery were supplied from this facility in 2022.

A thick column of smoke is rising from the building, the channel clarified. The factory is engaged in the production of 105mm, 120mm, and 155mm ammunition for artillery corps of the US Army.

Earlier, a building producing packages caught fire in Izhevsk. The Emergency Ministry reported that the fire spread to an area of one thousand square meters. More than 80 department employees and 27 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The fire was successfully contained and prevented from spreading to neighboring buildings.

It was also reported of a major fire on an area of 4,500 square meters at warehouses in Ramenskoye near Moscow. The situation became more complicated when the fire spread to a neighboring building. According to the Emergency Ministry, the center of the fire was in a room used for storing plastic products. There were no reports of injuries.

Prior to this, it was reported in Primorye about the extinguishing of a fire that engulfed a hypermarket warehouse covering an area of 700 square meters. The fire affected two separate buildings with insulation. 45 firefighters and 10 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the flames.
