He is accused of bribery
The head of the structural unit of Lukoil, Alexey Stepanov, has been arrested on corruption charges, reports Interfax.
Stepanov is charged with giving bribes to officials of the Central Energy Customs of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, as well as with illegally obtaining and disclosing information constituting commercial, tax, or banking secrets. This was reported by RIA Novosti in the press service of the Basmanny court.
TASS reports that the Basmanny court also placed Deputy Head of the Energy Customs Post Alexey Akimov and another employee of the energy customs, Andrey Brekhov, under house arrest, accused of receiving a particularly large bribe.
