Members of the sect lure people and drive them to suicide
Law enforcement officers in Moscow have detained four followers of the banned Chinese sect “Falun Gong”. This information was reported by TASS citing law enforcement agencies. This sect drives people to suicide.
The detained individuals underwent searches, during which law enforcement officers found banned literature. A criminal case has been initiated.
The “Falun Gong” sect was founded in 1992 in China by qigong teacher Li Hongzhi. In 1996, with the number of followers reaching several million, Li Hongzhi attempted to stage a coup in China. The attempt was thwarted, and Li Hongzhi went into hiding in his own castle in the United States.
According to law enforcement agencies, the “Falun Gong” sect, with direct support from the US State Department, attempted to organize “color revolutions” in Russia and China.
In 2020, seven foreign structures of “Falun Gong” were recognized as undesirable organizations in the Russian Federation.
