Authorities in Crimea have lifted the restrictions on traffic movement on the section of the “Tavrida” highway near the city of Feodosia. The road was closed about a day ago due to drone attacks. There have been no reports of damage on the highway.
Crimean Transport Minister Nikolai Lukashenko announced the resumption of movement on the 89 km road on Telegram. “To ensure road safety, we recommend that speed limits and safe distances be observed,” the message said.
Authorities did not disclose what happened on the highway section. It was closed around 4:30 am on March 3. Closer to night, Mr. Lukashenko reported that “barrier fencing installation is already underway” at the 89 km mark of the highway. On that day, 38 drones were destroyed over Crimea. There have been no reports on the consequences.
