Tottenham manager Angelo Postecoglou commented on the draw with West Ham (1-1) in the 31st round of the English Premier League.
“Yes, it was physically tough, and that’s what you expect when you come to West Ham’s stadium. They are a strong team and defend compactly, so patience is necessary. I think we dealt with it well. I am disappointed not with the result, but with the tough game. Our goal was a well thought out move. We worked on that. There are still many games to play. I will be very surprised if not all games are tense. Everyone is fighting for something. We need to maintain our level,” Postecoglou said, as quoted by the BBC.
Tottenham is in 5th place in the Premier League with 57 points. West Ham (45 points) is in 7th place in the league table.
