Quarterfinal match-ups of the World Hockey Championship have been announced.

The group stage of the World Hockey Championship held in the Czech Republic has ended. Team Canada emerged as the winner of Group A, while Team Sweden claimed victory in Group B. The pairings for the upcoming quarterfinals have been determined based on the results of the group stage.

The quarterfinal matches of the world championship will take place on May 23. The teams will compete in the following pairings:

  • Canada—Slovakia,
  • Switzerland—Germany,
  • Czech Republic—USA,
  • Finland—Sweden.

The semifinals of the world championship will be held on May 25. The third-place playoff and the final match in Prague are scheduled for May 26. Team Canada is the current reigning world hockey champion.
