“The flagship iPhone with a giant screen is being sold in Russian stores at a reduced price,” noted the media authors. If the device was initially priced at a “phenomenal” 189-200 thousand rubles, by early May it was available for 120 thousand rubles.

According to journalists, the price difference was 35 percent. The device, which has become cheaper by about a third, is available in the base version with a storage capacity of 256 gigabytes – a version with 128 gigabytes, unlike the previous iPhone 14 Pro Max, is not provided in the current generation.

The 15 Pro Max features a 6.7-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Always-On display support. The device also has the flagship Apple A17 Pro processor, 8 gigabytes of RAM, a triple camera with lenses of 48, 12, and 12 megapixels, and LiDAR. The smartphone has a titanium body, Face ID, and a 4441 mAh battery.

In late April, it became known that the iPhone 13, introduced in 2021, had become cheaper in Russia. If it initially cost 80 thousand rubles at the start of sales, it became available for 60 thousand rubles in the spring of 2024.
