According to Russian Railways, from May of this year, the retro train “Sochi” will resume its routes along the route Tuapse – Sochi – Gagra.
Last summer season, this train was already running along the Black Sea coast.
The train with numbers 927/928 will operate on this route from May 1 to October 7. Tickets are already available for purchase. The cost of travel from Sochi to Gagra starts from 805 rubles, and from Tuapse to Gagra – from 875 rubles.
The “Sochi” retro train consists of 10 wagons, the interior of which is designed in the style of the 1970s-1980s. In September 2023, an open observation car in a retro style from the beginning of the 20th century was added to the composition. It has 80 seats, heated benches, sockets for charging gadgets, and space for transporting bicycles.
