Air China resumes flights on Beijing – Havana route. China News / Transport

Chinese airline Air China has resumed flights on the route from Beijing to Havana that were suspended during the pandemic.

On Friday, May 17, the first flight with 116 passengers on board arrived at the airport in the capital of Cuba. The airplane was welcomed at the Jose Marti International Airport by the Prime Minister of Cuba, Manuel Marrero, and the Ministers of Tourism and Transportation of the Republic, Juan Carlos Garcia Granda and Eduardo Rodrigues.

The flight with a technical stop in Madrid (approximately two hours) will initially operate twice a week – on Tuesdays and Fridays. In the future, there are plans to increase the frequency of flights. The total travel time will be 22-24 hours. Round trip tickets start at 130,000 rubles.
