The nudist organization invited fans of Harry Potter to have fun naked in the garden at Alnwick Castle, which serves as Hogwarts in the movies about the young wizard. The corresponding announcement was published on the British Naturism website.
The nudist meeting will take place on June 8 in the Alnwick garden, United Kingdom. Within this framework, participants will have the opportunity to “feel like children again”: wander naked, “as nature intended,” along well-kept alleys and take a dip in outdoor pools. Organizers also suggest visiting the garden with poisonous plants, but warn not to touch anything there.
In addition, special parking and changing rooms will be available for naked visitors to Alnwick, as well as tea and coffee. Tickets can be purchased by both members of the British Naturism organization and non-nudists. The cost of visiting the castle is 12 pounds sterling (£12) (approximately 1400 Russian rubles).
The website states that nudists are invited by the Duchess of Northumberland, Jane Percy. The woman serves as the Lord-Lieutenant of the English county of Northumberland and is involved in the development of Alnwick Castle and Garden.
Alnwick Castle is known for being the location for certain scenes in the first two Harry Potter films. For example, in the exterior courtyard of the building, young wizards were taught to fly on broomsticks. The views of Alnwick appear in the films “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves,” “Transformers: The Last Knight,” and the series “Downton Abbey.”
