The international skiing tournament “Mountain Eagle” will take place at the Olympic ski jumping complex in the mountain cluster of Sochi from July 26 to 28. This was reported on the website of the city-resort administration.
“The international skiing tournament [“Mountain Eagle”] will take place in Sochi. The sports competitions will be held from July 26 to 28 in the mountain cluster at the Olympic ski jumping complex “Russian Hills,” the statement said.
It is noted that during the three competition days of the tournament, individual and team starts will take place among men and women in ski jumping and Nordic combined events.
The resort city is hosting the skiing tournament “Mountain Eagle” for the second time. Last year, about 100 athletes, including representatives from Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia, participated in the competitions in Sochi.
Sochi is one of the most popular Russian resorts, with nearly 7.6 million tourists visiting in 2023. In the summer season, guests prefer seaside and health resort vacations in the coastal zone. In the winter months, the most popular attractions in the city among tourists are the ski resorts.
