Sanatoriums are most popular among Russians aged 35 to 44. This was reported by “Gazeta.Ru” citing a study by the booking service “Otello”.
It is noted that residents of Moscow (31%) and St. Petersburg (12%) vacation in sanatoriums more often than others. The average duration of rest at health resorts ranges from 7 to 21 days (51%).
The study states that in the summer of 2024 in Russia, the cost of a day’s stay in a sanatorium or guest house averages from nine to 16 thousand rubles. The most affordable among the regions was Krasnodar Krai, where the average price per night is around nine thousand rubles.
Earlier, the tour operator “Alean” stated that Russians are increasingly choosing eco-friendly hotels for their vacations, which are located in natural reserves or remote areas where the internet is inaccessible, as reported by the Telegram channel “Radiotochka NSN”.
