The Ministry of Transport ordered companies not to temporarily increase ticket prices in Kaliningrad

Air tickets to Kaliningrad will not become more expensive until the subsidizing system is being revised. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Transport.

— Other airlines carrying out subsidized transportation to Kaliningrad are instructed not to allow fare increases on these routes during the review period, — the message says.

The department noted that currently specialists from the Ministry of Transport together with Rosaviatsiya are reviewing the system of tariff benefits to increase ticket quotas for transportation of residents of the Kaliningrad region, as reported by TASS.

Saving on trips across Russia can be done by planning trips in advance or using package offers from tour companies. This was explained by the Vice President of the Russian Union of Travel Industry Dmitry Gorin.
