Additionally, specify that the most advantageous month for booking is February. However, according to the price calendar, according to the service specialists, in some regions the situation changes depending on the time of year.
“For example, in the Krasnodar region or St. Petersburg, higher prices are expected in the summer period. And in Moscow, demand remains high at all times, but optimal booking prices in the capital are unexpectedly high in the summer,” experts reassured.
Thus, the cheapest month for booking in Moscow is July, and the most expensive is December. In St. Petersburg, accommodation will be more expensive in February and cheaper in August. There is also data on other cities in Russia, including Novosibirsk (cheaper in February, more expensive in January), Kazan (cheaper in March, more expensive in August), Vladivostok (cheaper in February, more expensive in August), Sochi (cheaper in February, more expensive in August).
Earlier, analysts from the booking service Ostrovok.ru published a rating of hotels in the CIS and Georgia, which in 2023 became the best according to tourists. The list included about 150 properties in 22 cities of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan.
