Ticket prices from Tel Aviv and Amman to Moscow nearly doubled yesterday and today. From Israel to Russia, you can fly with one stopover today, and from Jordan since yesterday. The most economical and relatively comfortable way from Ben Gurion Airport to Moscow is through a combination of flights by “Azimuth” and “Aeroflot” with an overnight layover in Sochi. This will take about 12 hours, and tickets can be purchased for 58,000 rubles. Another option slightly more expensive but more comfortable is the Emirates flight with a layover in Dubai. The cost is 60,000 rubles, with a travel time of 17 hours. A ticket on flydubai will cost 81,000 rubles, but the flight will be shorter at 11.5 hours.
You can fly even cheaper from Tel Aviv the day after tomorrow for 42,000 rubles if you use Israir Airlines and Georgian Airways flights with a stopover in Tbilisi. However, this route will take about 18 hours. A more comfortable option is a combination of Arkia and Georgian Airways flights with a short layover in Tbilisi. The overall flight will take 7 hours and cost 84,000 rubles. On April 17, you can book seats on a direct Red Wings flight from Tel Aviv to Moscow for 62,000 rubles, with a travel time of about 6 hours.
Note that tickets from Moscow to Tel Aviv and back in May-June are offered for 30-35,000 rubles one way, which is half the price.
The fastest way to get to Russia from Jordan is to combine a Royal Jordanian flight from Amman to Istanbul and Turkish Airlines from Istanbul to Moscow. A ticket for today costs 141,000 rubles, with passengers spending almost 9 hours on the road. A less expensive option is a Royal Jordanian flight to Istanbul, then to Moscow with Aeroflot. This route will take 11 hours and cost 96,000 rubles. For just 53,000 rubles, you can fly from Amman tomorrow using Pegasus and “Pobeda” flights. The total flight time will be 14 hours. During “peaceful times,” tickets for flights from Amman to Moscow can be booked for 26-35,000 rubles. This includes the cost of tickets for connecting flights on AnadoluJet and Pegasus in May and June.
